Introducing DietPi testing release for the Raspberry Pi 5

On February 19th, 2024, DietPi was officially released, in beta for the Raspberry Pi 5. This is the first release for the latest Raspberry Pi model. However, users should be aware that certain hardware features, including overclocking, display, and camera settings, are not fully supported by DietPi scripts at this initial stage. Additionally, the removal of legacy GPU and camera support, such as MMAL and DispmanX, may impact compatibility with older camera software. The DietPi development team is actively addressing these limitations to enhance the user experience in subsequent updates.

You can download it from the DietPi website https://dietpi.com.

They also have excellent documentation on how to install DietPi https://dietpi.com/docs/install
